Obedience Please trained pet counselors do not teach your dog to memorize commands during our dog training classes in Pasadena, we use behavioral modification to help your dog be the best companion and member of the family he can be.
Our facility has reopened for regular hours and you can choose to come to our facility or we can come to you in your home and work one-on-one with your dog. Either way, our attendants wear masks and gloves and observe social distancing for safety.
One Thing You Won’t See During Training Sessions is:
A big difference between our training method and others is that we don’t rely on your dog’s love of getting treats to perform an action. Our behavioral modification methods work on building trust and understanding between you and your dog.
Why Some Commands are Crucial
Do you have a dog that grabs things? Learning to drop items when given the command “Drop it” can literally save your dog’s life if he picks up something dangerous in his mouth. Does your dog have a problem with running out of open gates or doors? The results of this type of behavior can be tragic and end with your dog getting stolen or hit by a vehicle. We teach the commands “heel” and “stop” although these are correction commands, they don’t have to be a negative experience for your dog when he gets corrected.
Our expert trainers teach you how to teach your dog and communicate in a way your dog understands which builds trust and creates a unique team between yourself and your dog.
